Marcus Clay Hall
Marcus Clay Hall, 66, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024, at his home. He was born March 7, 1958, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late Edna Rose Hall.In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Rose; brothers, Glen “Andy” Hall, Jeffery Lee Hall, Sr., Larry Edward Hall, and James Clay Hall; nephews, Jade Lusk, and Terry Wilkerson; and great-nephew, Josh Hill.Marcus loved his family, the Dallas Cowboys, the L.A. Lakers, poetry, reading, good music, and art. He was an avid animal lover, especially of cats. He worked at Prillaman's Meat Market for many years and enjoyed being with his customers. He was retired at the time of his passing. He could always talk to anyone on any subject.Marcus is survived by his sisters, Judy Rose Gleason, and Penny Doss (Jay); brother, Matt Hall (Melinda); and numerous well-loved nieces, nephews, many extended family members, and friends.The memorial service will be Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 2:30 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel, 1425 Greensboro Road, Martinsville, VA.
