Margaret Ann Johnson Seay

Margaret Ann Johnson Seay, 76 of Collinsville, VA passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 27, 1948, Richlands, VA to the late Ralph Storia Johnson, Sr., and Mabel Jarett Johnson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Talmadge and Mattie Seay; brothers-in-law, David Seay and Wayne Shively; and nephew, Matthew Uselton.

Mrs. Seay graduated in 1967 from Fieldale-Collinsville High School. She had a deep passion for cooking, baking, and the arts, especially painting. Her creativity and warmth were evident in all she did. Mrs. Seay dedicated thirty-five years of her professional life to the banking industry.

She is survived by her husband of forty-eight years, Steve Michael Seay; daughter, Ginger Renee’ Plaster Hines and husband, Brent; granddaughter, Emily Anne Menowsky and husband, Joseph; step-grandson, Bradley R. Hines; brothers, Ralph S. Johnson, Jr. and wife, Ruth and Terry R. Johnson and wife, Glenda; sisters, Linda J. Foster and husband, Louis, and Beverly J. Inman and husband Kenny; sisters-in-law, Treva Shively and Teresa Seay. Also surviving are her beloved nieces and nephews, Gina Foster, Kyle Uselton, Seth Johnson, Eric Johnson, Alex Johnson, Paige Collins, Caleb Inman, Katie Seay, Sara Downs, and Brian Whitehead; special grand nephews, Ethan Collins, Nolan Inman, Cooper Seay, and Draper Martin; and her special grand nieces, Blayke Collins and Andi Mae Inman.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Collinsville. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Collinsville with Pastor Larry Cheek officiating. Entombment will be held at Roselawn Abbey.
