Margaret Ann Moser White

Margaret Ann Moser White, 84, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025. Margaret was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on September 5, 1940 to the late Doris Pierce Moser and the late Jessie Moser. She was also predeceased by her loving husband of many years, Mr. Bernard Jackson White Sr.

Margaret was of the Christian Faith and a longtime faithful member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She worked for many years as a Weaver at Dan River Mills Inc. previous to her retirement.

Margaret is survived by two sons; Bernard Jackson White Jr. (Bettye) of Danville, VA and Jason Scott White (Heather) of Forrest, VA; a daughter; Stacey Lynn Smith (Randy) of Danville, VA; two brothers; Charlie and Leon Moser; a sister; Sadie Tosh; three grandchildren; Kyle Patrick White, Haley Lynn Smith (Dylan Gauldin), and Jackson Scott White; and a special friend; Sarah Smith.

In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was predeceased by a granddaughter; Lainey Paige Smith; a brother; Ryland Moser; and a special friend; William Smith.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church Educational Fund at 4401 Westover Drive, Danville, VA 24541.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 11:00am at Hillcrest Burial Park, Chatham, VA, with Pastor Bob Yeaman officiating.
