Margaret Elaine Frye Snow

Mrs. Margaret Elaine Frye Snow, age 96, of Mount Airy passed away peacefully on September 20, 2025 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. She was born in Guilford County, NC, January 31, 1929, the daughter of the late Harry Edgar and Annie Fagg Frye. Mrs. Snow was retired from Branch Banking and Trust (Truist) after many years of service and a member of Grace Moravian Church. Surviving are her children; Sue McLean (Jim), Pam Mitchell (Joey), Eddie Snow, Anne Moser (Gary), Chris Snow (Jacinda); grandchildren, Elisha Moser, Chad Poteat (Alaine), Allison Poteat, Cody McLean, Celia Herring (David), Maggie Mitchell, Madeline Snow, Savannah Snow; great grandchildren, Elliott Poteat, Celest Herring, Saddie Herring; brothers, Carlos Frye (Stella), Rod Frye (Becky). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Morgan Snow, Jr., daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Phil Poteat, grandson, Jerrald Mitchell, great granddaughter, Natalie Poteat, and sister, Lib Thomas. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Grace Moravian Church with Rev. Andrew Heil officiating. Interment will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
