Margaret Slusher Cahill

Margaret Slusher Cahill passed away at the age of 84 on Saturday, August 3, 2024. Margaret was born and lived in Roanoke. She was a devoted mother and wife. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eual and George Anna Slusher; three brothers; four sisters; and her husband, Fred Mullineaux Cahill Jr.Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Perry Cahill (Cindy) and Julia Worley (John); grandsons, Seth Cahill and John Worley Jr.; sisters, Dianne Slusher and Linda Lambert; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces whom she loved dearly.The family would like to thank the 10th Floor Nurses of Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for taking care of her during her short time there. Also a special thank you to Our Lady of Valley (Long Term Care) Staff for taking good care of her during the past three years. Per Margaret’s wishes there will be no services.
