Marie Spencer Richardson

Marie Spencer Richardson, 75, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Marie was born in Nevada on July 8, 1950 to the late Nelda Hesselgrave Lewis.

Marie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked for over 40 years for Ronald J. Thompson as his administrative assistant, previous to her retirement.

Marie is survived by her daughter; Leslie Paris and husband Steve of Chatham, VA; brother Al Spencer and wife Kriss of Utah; and three grandchildren; Tanner Paris, Cutler Paris, and Ally Paris.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Chatham Baseball Boosters at 101 Talbott Drive, Danville, VA 24540.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 1:00pm at Danville Memorial Gardens, with Mr. Al Spencer officiating.  At other times the family will receive friends and family at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Leslie Paris.
