Marilyn Mason Duff

Marilyn Mason Duff, 81, of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

Born on April 5, 1943 in Glens Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Walter P. Mason, Sr. and Vara E. Mason. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, Harold L. Duff; two sisters, Patricia M. Hornok and Margret M. Beaudet; and her brother, Walter P. Mason, Jr.

Marilyn loved to travel and especially enjoyed spending time at the beach with the Outer Banks being her favorite. She was always up for an adventure and enjoyed camping, fishing and picnics with her family.

She is survived by her three children, Camilla Duff Stanley (Phil), Christine Salome Mitchell (Todd) and Anthony Harold Duff; her sister, Janice M. Duell of Woodbridge, VA; four grandchildren, Brooke A. Mays, Brittany Duff, Matthew Salome, Erica Salome; and two great grandchildren, Hadleigh Grey Trent and Hayden Cole Trent; along with many loved nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
