Marjorie Helen Draper

Marjorie Helen Draper, 90, of Martinsville, Virginia, transitioned from her earthly life Friday, March 28, 2025. She was born March 21, 1935, in Max Meadows, Virginia, to the late Fred Gilmer Frost and Nannie Belle Mahone Frost.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Draper; four sisters; and one brother.

Marjorie was of the Christian faith and attended Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. She graduated from Patrick & Henry Community College and became involved in various societies in the area, including Martinsville Temple #23 and the Grand Temple of Virginia. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters for over 50 years and was also an active member of the Toastmasters. Marjorie’s work ethic was evidenced by to her dedication to her job at DuPont for over three decades.

Her memory will live on in those she leaves behind: two sisters; one brother; several nieces and nephews, and her very special friends and neighbors, John Raines, Shirley Conner, and Drema Greer.
