Mark Douglas Witt

Mark Douglas Witt, 53, of Bassett, Virginia passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025. He was born May 19, 1971, in Martinsville, Virginia to Elizabeth Carol Hall Witt and the late Ken Witt.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Elizabeth Witt.Mark enjoyed working on cars and riding motorcycles. He loved his family, and everyone loved him in return. Mark was shy until he got to know you, but had a big personality. In his free time you could find him fishing and hunting. Mark loved his nephew dearly.In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Taylor Hale; sister, Lisa Witt; and nephew, Shane Mullins.All services will be held at a later date.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
