Mark Jones

Mark Jones, age 58, passed away April 27, 2024. Mr. Jones was born May 7, 1965, in Danville, VA to Kaye Jones and the late James “Butch” Jones, Jr. He was married to Laura Criner Jones, who survives, of the residence. He worked as a supervisor at Goodyear Tire & Rubber for 29 years.

In addition to his beloved wife and mother, he is also survived by a daughter, Kelsea Wade (Alex), son, Matthew Jones (Katrina), granddaughters, Aspenne Raine Wade and Rayne Anderson Jones, brother, Keith (Debra), nephew Blake Jones, and his beloved dogs, Jasper and Annabelle.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 2, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home, West End Chapel, 511 Church Ave., Danville, officiated by Billy Chaney. A visitation by family and loved ones will precede the funeral service from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville.
