Mark Stephen Kratochvil

Mark Stephen Kratochvil, 72, passed away on June 23, 2024.

A native of Florida he was the son of Frank Kratochvil and Ruth Stein Kratochvil, both deceased. Mark completed his bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii. He enjoyed refereeing basketball games including numerous state championship games. Mark also greatly enjoyed golf. Other hobbies included accompanying his daughter Britnee in her equestrian adventures. He was an avid New York Yankees fan. Mark worked a majority of his life in management in retail sales and eventually purchased his own Dan’s Fan City  franchise on Bluffton, South Carolina.

Mark is survived by his daughter, Britnee Cameron Kratochvil Stevens  and her husband Andrew Stevens; a grandson, Lucas Robert Stevens;  a sister, Sharon Mustain; brothers, George Kratochvil and Keith Kratochvil; and several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. Also surviving Mark is his ex-wife and friend Lynne Kratochvil.

Mark served numerous years in the Marine Corps including several Tours of Duty in The Vietnam War.  Mark was a true supporter of the armed forces and loved having served his country.
