Marsha Jo Lewis

Marsha Vernon Lewis, 62, of Spencer, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024. She was born July 7, 1961, in North Carolina to the late James Silas Vernon and Inez Martin Vernon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Bobbi Jo Anderson; sister, Connie Shumate; and brothers, Jimmy Thomas, Buddy Thomas, Randy Thomas, and Carl Wayne Vernon.

Marsha was a member of the Mayo Christian Church in Spencer and the owner of Busy Bee Cleaner for 15 years.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Lee Lewis; sons, Hunter Ryan, and Silas Anderson; sisters, Linda Trent (John), Deborah Thompson (James), Penny Denny (Lewis); and brother, Ray Vernon (Dawn).

The funeral will be held Friday, February 16, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Curt Ashley officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service.
