Mary Ann Callahan

Mary Ann Callahan, 85, of Roanoke, Virginia passed away on Sunday, July 28th, 2024.
She was a member of Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church. She retired from Lewis Gale after 50 years from being a switch board operator.
Outside of her work life, she enjoyed reading, eating out with friends and family, and visiting with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, Oscar “Billy” Callahan; her son, William “Bill” Edward Callahan; her sisters, Helen Beckley, Mildred Carr and Dawn McCray; her brother, Jerry Debo (Sylvia).
Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Rush (David); her grandchildren, Heather Owens, David E. Rush (Katie), Jennifer Callahan, Melissa Callahan, and Danielle Callahan; 3 great- grandchildren and a host of friends & family. Oakeys Funeral Service is assisting the family.
