Mary Campbell Stokes, 95, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord Thursday, November 6, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Campbell Sr. and Angie Hodges Campbell; husband, Garland W. Stokes Sr.; son, Garland Stokes Jr. “Buddy”; and one brother and two sisters.
Left to cherish Mary’s memory are her daughters, Bethany Clingenpeel (Mike) and Teri Bradbury (Lewis); bonus son, Steve Murray; furbaby, Poppy; and several nieces and nephews that will miss her dearly.
The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM Monday, November 10, 2025 at Lotz Funeral Home Roanoke. A service will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor James Vergquist officiating. A graveside will conclude the services for Mary at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
