Mary Duncan

Mary Maxine Touchstone Duncan, age 86, of 306 Dairy Street, Apt D8, Covington, Virginia died on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at The Laurels of Charlottesville.

Mary was born on November 3, 1939 in Mississippi to the late Hiram and Elizabeth Robinson Touchstone. She was a retired Waitress for the Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and especially loved time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jackie Coleman; one grandson, Levi Coleman; three sisters, Lucille Smith, Jean Prim, and Gladys Smith; and six brothers, Grady Touchstone, Earl Touchstone, Herbert Touchstone, J. W. Touchstone, Junior Touchstone, and Otis Touchstone.

She is survived by a daughter, Tina Jones (Donnie) of West Virginia; a sister-in-law, Sandy Touchstone of Alabama; three grandchildren, Joshua Coleman (Tara) of Lakeworth, FL, Shannon Hicks (Ryan) of Charlottesville, and Zak Coleman of Ripley, WV; three great grandchildren, Jimmy Coleman, Jaxon Coleman, and Zoey Coleman; and a number of nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of The Laurels for their compassion and excellent care.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
