Mary "Fussy" Thompson

Mary “Fussy” Thompson, 93, of Salem, Va went to be with the Lord, on Monday, June 17, 2024. Born Tuesday, March 31, 1931, to the late Harry Lee Stanley and Callie Virgin Meadow Stanley.

She was a member of the New Life Presbyterian Church for over 40 years. Mary enjoyed reading, solving puzzles, crocheting, and admiring beautiful flowers. She had a great love for her family and will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her ex-husband, JR. Thompson; sisters, Virginia Stump and Jeanie Mullins; and brother Donald Stanley.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Mark Wayne Thompson (Tracy); her granddaughter, Callie Thompson Wolfe (Wes); her brother, HL Stanley(Judy); special friends, Anne and Elizabeth as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
