Mary Goggin Keen

  Mary Goggin Keen, 82, of Danville, VA passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022. She was born July 12, 1940, in Pittsylvania County to the late James Moorman Goggin and the late Mable Cabler Goggin.
  Mrs. Keen was a charter member of the Danville Seventh Day Adventist Church on Piney Forest Rd. She will be remembered as very loving wife, mother, and sister. She enjoyed camping, fishing, dancing, and traveling.

  She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Sam W. Keen; son, Charles Keen (Bonnie); sisters, Lelia “Winky” Lawrence, Ruth Maxie, Doris Gibson, and Elaine Compton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Jewel Mann.

  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 7, 2022, at Norris Funeral Services, 511 Church Ave., Danville, VA 24541, with Pastor Luis Beltre officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Danville Memorial Gardens. They will be at the residence at other times.
