Maxine Perry Johnson

Maxine Perry Johnson, 91, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023. She was born September 3, 1932, in Vance City, North Carolina, to the late Zollie Perry and Mable Perry.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Johnson.Maxine attended Imperfect Church. In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards and hosting card parties. She loved motorcycles and traveling. She loved spending time with children.She is survived by her special granddaughter, Phyllis Payne (Christopher Huff); great grandchildren, Skyylar Miller, and Phylicity Huff; godson, Author Ravizee; and goddaughter, Phenonda James.She will be missed.All services will be private.
