Maynard "Sam" Marshall

Maynard “Sam” Marshall, 75, of Bassett, Virginia passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Mulberry Nursing and Rehab. He was born on August 21, 1948, to the late Junes Marshall and Mary Maulden. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, his step father, Orman Maulden; and one grandson, Joseph Richey.

Maynard was an Army Veteran. He loved playing the guitar and banjo, as well as spending time with family.

Maynard is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Richey (Jason); two sons, Samuel Marshall and Thomas Marshall; four grandchildren, Wyatt Richey (Sarah), Grace Marshall, Samuel Marshall, Cali Rodgers; two great grandchildren, Jacob Foreman and Jolene Richey; three sisters, Edith Withrow, Karen Crews, and Brenda Cole (Wayne); and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
