Michael Allen Hudson

Michael Allen Hudson, Sr., 77, of Roanoke, passed away on Wednesday, December, 20, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Bernard Hudson and Mamie Brown Hudson; a brother, Arney Dalton Hudson; and sister, Ruby Anne Spicer.

He is survived by his son, Michael (Susan) Hudson Jr.; brothers, John David (Cindy) Hudson Sr. and Bill (Susie) Hudson; and loyal friend, Alan Desper.

He was proud of his service in the Virginia National Guard. Mike worked for N&W Railroad for 40 years, retiring in 2006. Following his retirement he pursued the restoration of older cars, in particular 50’s and 60’s era Fords.

The family would like to thank the many friends he made during his service, work, and retirement years. Special thanks to those who assisted with his care during his illness.

The family will have a Visitation on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 2:00-4:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019.
