Michael Boone

Mr. Michael Lee Boone, age 70, of Covington, died Saturday, September 21, 2024 at his residence.
Mr. Boone was born June 11, 1954 in Alleghany County, the son of the late Chester Boone and Christine Lowry Boone. He was a lifetime resident of this community. Michael had been employed as a saw mill worker for Mullican BA Lumber Company in Ronceverte, WV for a number of years. In his spare time, he loved hunting.
Mr. Boone is survived by his daughter, Michelle Lee Boone-Orange and husband, Shawn Orange of Montvale; a son, Justin Lee Boone and wife, Brittany Jackson Boone; three grandchildren, Mikalah Ruby, Landen Boone and Brynlee Boone; and a sister, Linda Longanacre of Sinks Grove, WV.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Boone was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Boone.
There is no public service at this time.
