Michael Brandon Powell

Michael “Brandon” Powell, 43, of Danville, VA passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 17, 2023, at his residence. Brandon was born on January 31, 1980, to Michael Barry Powell and Sue Brandon Powell.

Brandon was of the Christian faith and was baptized when he was 12 years old. Brandon was a loving husband, dad, son, and brother. He was an avid UNC Tarheel fan and enjoyed music and golf. He was employed by ADD Equipment in Gretna, VA. Brandon was a loyal friend to many.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Krystal McGregor Powell; son, Brody Powell; sister, Kristie Powell Livengood (Charles); nieces, Caroline, Cameron, and Kate Livengood; mother-in-law, Lou Ellen McGregor; and brother-in-law, Ronnie McGregor, Jr.

A visitation will be held from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Norris Funeral Services, Mt. Hermon Chapel, 3995 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24540. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Norris Funeral Services, Mt. Hermon Chapel with Pastor Bobby Thurman officiating. The interment will be at Danville Memorial Gardens.
