Michael Lewis Waldron

December 2, 1962 - April 21, 2025

Michael Lewis Waldron Sr of Narrows, Virginia., a cherished family man, and avid outdoorsman, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025, at the age of 62 in Roanoke, Virginia. Born on December 2, 1962, in Pearisburg, Virginia, Michael's life was a testament to the values of hard work, dedication, and the simple joys of nature.

Michael's early years in Giles County laid the foundation for a life full of love and meaningful connections. He was a beacon of strength and support to his family, friends, and all who knew him. His unwavering commitment to his loved ones was evident in every facet of his life. Michael was the proud father of three sons, Michael Lewis Waldron Jr. and his wife Casey of Dublin, Virginia, Dustin Lee Waldron and his wife Misty of Galax, Virginia, and Joshua Dewayne Waldron and his wife Kayla of Narrows, Virginia. His grandchildren, Brynlee Waldron, Brycen Waldron, Desiree Simpkins, and Nathan Webb were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment he spent with them.

Michael's family roots were deep, and he was beloved by his extended family. He is survived by his uncle, John Waldron; his nephew, Hunter Waldron; and several cousins who will miss him dearly. His life was enriched by the presence of lifelong friends who stood by him through thick and thin. Michael's legacy will continue to live on through the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Preceded in death by his parents, Billy Waldron and Annie Long Waldron, his loving wife, Dana Teats Waldron, and his brother, Timothy Waldron, Michael's memory will be a comfort to those left behind. He carried the memories of his loved ones in his heart and often shared stories that kept their spirit alive.

Michael found solace and pleasure in the great outdoors. His days were often spent working on the farm, where he took pride in the fruits of his labor. He had a deep respect for the land and the animals that called it home. Hunting and fishing were not just hobbies for Michael; they were passions that allowed him to connect with nature and find peace away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

His knowledge of the wilderness was vast, and he was always eager to pass on his wisdom to his sons and grandchildren. Michael's legacy as an outdoorsman will be remembered every time a line is cast into the water or a trail is followed through the woods.
