Michael Marion

Michael Wesley Marion, age 59, of 601 Rose Avenue, Clifton Forge, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, peacefully surrounded by his family.
Michael was born on June 10, 1965 in Winchester, Virginia to Jennifer Ellen Mauck (Marion) Moreland and the late Tim Chester Marion. He was a dry wall installer for multiple construction companies.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step father, Roger Moreland.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Gale Mitchell Marion of Clifton Forge; his mother, Jennifer Moreland of Clifton Forge; three sons, Michael Marion (Monica) of Clifton Forge, James Marion (Christie) of Covington, and Jason Marion of Clifton Forge; a brother, Timmy Marion (Sue) of Clifton Forge; two sisters, Shenandoah “Sendy” Rucker (Ricky) of Iron Gate and Rachel Alewin (Lewis) of Louisa; three grandchildren, Allen Marion, Jamie Marion, and Nicole Marion; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Pastor Shorty Wolfe and Pastor Steve Noel officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery, Eagle Rock. Pallbearers will be Michael J. Marion, James D. Marion, Jason Marion, Michael Whipp, Davey Eaton, and Jeremy Monn. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Rucker and Lindsey Shaffer. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Nicely Funeral Home.
