Mike was the beloved child of Shirlene Elliott and the late Wallace Watt. He grew up surrounded by the love and camaraderie of his siblings, Richard (and his wife Christina) Watt, Terri Greer, Kayce (and her husband Brandon) Jarrett, and Cindy Burnett. Nieces, Emily Greer, Madison Greer, Heaven Watt, Sybil Watt, Carolyn Watt and Rachel Watt; nephews: Hunter Greer and Isaac Watt, as well at his stepfather, George Elliott. Mike's family was the cornerstone of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

From a young age, Mike exhibited a profound connection with nature. His passion for fishing and exploring the wilderness was more than a hobby; it was a way of life that brought him immeasurable joy.
