Milton "Steve" Curry

Milton “Steve” Curry, 56, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024. He was born May 17, 1968, in Martinsville, Virginia, to Shirley Meanette Antley Curry and Larry Steve Curry .He was preceded in death by his daughter, Chelsey Curry; sisters, Wendy Rodgers and Sherri Curry.Steve proudly served his country in the United States Navy during Desert Storm. He received his nursing degree from ECPI University, Greensboro, North Carolina and was employed by the VA Hospital in Salem, Virginia. Music was a big part of Steve’s life; he enjoyed playing the guitar. In his free time, you could find him exploring the great doors, hiking and camping. He always kept a smile on the faces of those around him with his great sense of humor. Steve will be greatly missed.He is survived by a son, Brandon Curry (Jessica); sisters, Cindy Taylor (Brian) and April Via (Kevin); grandchildren, Karissa Curry, Branson Curry, Wade Curry, and Jaxton Willard; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.A celebration of life will be held Sunday, June 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
