Minnie Ann Harrison Chitwood

Minnie Ann Harrison Chitwood, age 89 of Rocky Mount passed peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2026.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Euell Chitwood; and her son, Clarence Chitwood.Left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Wilbur Chitwood, Billy Joe Chitwood (Drema) and Wallace Chitwood; her special niece, Mary Helen Shockley; as well as three granddaughters; and three grandsons whom she loved dearly.Minnie will be remembered for her love of family and the warmth she shared with those around her. She especially enjoyed working her puzzle books and watching her local news.A memorial service will be held at Henry Fork Community Church 12 noon Tuesday, April 7, 2026 with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
