Gracie was known as Grandma by many. She was a traveler and despite sea sickness always enjoyed going on cruises. Being a grandma was her pride and joy. If anyone knew her, they knew that her grandson was the brightest star in her eyes. Even sharing his love of rollercoasters and always riding with him. She was fortunate enough to share her love with her great granddaughter. Gracie was also known for her ability to take pieces of fabric and make anything from blankets, drapes, or even matching outfits with her daughter. Her fondness of western movies made her fall in love with John Wayne. Gracie was a strong and independent woman and had her own way of showing she cared. She was a foster parent who helped several children. Later in life she became a caregiver, taking care of the elderly or disabled. She’s made an impact and touched many lives and will be miss dearly.
She was a daughter of the late, Anthony James Clark and Sallie Dillion Clark. In addition to her parents, she preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Roy Clark, Robert Clark, Calvin Clark, Irving Clark, Myrtle Saul, Hazel Morris, Thelma Richards, and Bernice Hurst.
