Myrtle Frances Turner

Myrtle Frances Turner, age 89, of Stuart, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Stanleytown Health & Rehab. She was born on December 10, 1936, in Patrick County, Virginia, to the late Leonard Jefferson Turner and Ethel Frances Turner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Wagner; and her brother-in-law, Charles Wagner.

Myrtle was a hardworking woman who spent many years employed with United Elastic as a laborer. She was known for her simple joys in life and especially loved to shop. Myrtle lived a quiet life and will be remembered for her strength and independence.

Left to cherish her memory are her two brothers, James Thomas Turner (Bonnie) and George Leonard Turner (Sheila); and a host of nieces and nephews, Jeff Wagner, Kevin Turner, Gerald Wagner, Chris Turner, and Misty Turner, along with other extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at Jeremiah Turner Cemetery on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 1:00pm with Pastor Steve Tilley officiating.
