Nakita Maria Thomas-Tate

NaKita Maria Thomas -Tate was born May 20, 1990 in White Plains NY. She fell asleep in death on April 9, 2024. Nakita is preceded in death by her husband Jaleel Tate; grandparents, Margie and Melvin Garcia and Lynwood Thomas.

Surviving are her loving parents, Lynwood and Cassandra Thomas. Left in the care of her loving parents and aunts are her 8 children from her marriage to Jaleel. Kaleel 15, Keymani 13, Kamiyah 12, Kamorah 10, KaSai 7, KyCere 5, Kior 2 and Kaheem 18 months. Other surviving relatives are brothers, Justin Garcia, Jason and Corey Thomas; grandmother, Veolia Thomas; aunts, Gayle Thomas and Deborah Calloway; uncles, Paul Garcia, Marcus Chambers (Lillian) and Lynell Thomas; niece, Ashiyah; nephews, J’Sean, DaMarion, and Jabari; special nephew, Khiry Leftwhich; father-in-law, Benjamin (K-Star) Tate; sisters-in- law, Jacquana Tate, Jacquasia Hammond; brothers-in-law, Jacream and Jayshone Hammond; special cousin, Jeanell Jackson; special sister, Jackie Kelley and a host of family and friends. Nakita was a fun-loving person. She led a private life and her focus was on taking good care of her children. Isaiah 25:8
