Nancy "Carol" Carolyn Hilton Shockley

Mrs. Nancy Carolyn “Carol” Hilton Shockley, 74, of Dobson, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Born January 3, 1950, in Guilford County, to the late Charles Grady and Nancy Beatrice Lucas Hilton. Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Donald “Donnie” Shockley; sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie Shockley and Dana, Thomas Shockley and Kristie; daughter, Cathy White; grandchildren, Deetriha Stanley and Adam, Douglas Shockley and Jenna, Zackery Crissmon and Amanda, Dillon Shockley and Sarah, Destiney Johnson and Brandon, Desiree Shockley and Diego, Jonathan Shockley, and Chaz Shockley; great-grandchildren, Abel Stanley, Emorie Crissmon, Cashton Crissmon, Aubrey Johnson, Paisley Johnson, Katie Johnson, and Lesley Perez. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Jordan Crissmon; as well as two sisters, Frances Beck, and Betty Curry. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Moody-Davis Funeral Home from 1:00 until 2:00 PM. Following the visitation, a service will be conducted at 2:00 PM in the Moody-Davis Funeral Home Chapel. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson, NC is serving the Shockley family.
