Nancy Mabes Brown, 94, of Martinsville, VA passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023, at King’s Grant Retirement Community. She was born on October 23, 1928, in Eden, NC to the late Henry Clay Mabes and Nannie Bernard Mabes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Maurice Brown, and her daughter, Sara E. Brown.
Mrs. Brown was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Martinsville, VA.
She is survived by her sons, William Robert Brown of Fort Myers, FL, and Marlin Jerome “Jay” Brown of St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren, Jason, Rebecca, and Ryan Brown; and her great-grandchildren, Beckett, and Rhett Brown.
