Nancy Maxey Reneau

Nancy Maxey Reneau, age 84, of Blacksburg, passed away on May 27th, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nannie (Hubbard) and Tim Maxey, a sister, Martha Maxey Moles, and her husband Alvin K. Moles. Nancy was a dedicated member of Church on Main (Blacksburg Baptist Church). The church played a pivotal role throughout her life. She wore many hats, serving as a Deacon and Sunday school teacher, but her most cherished role was as a youth leader for middle and high school students. Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Raymond B. Reneau, a son Raymond Allen Reneau and his wife Ann Marie Reneau of Cape Charles, VA, a sister, Patricia M. Bartlett and husband Robert Bartlett of Annapolis, MD, one granddaughter Emma Rose Scaglione of Cape Charles, VA, one nephew Robert Bartlett and his family, as well as one cousin, niece and nephews as well as her Kentucky family. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 5:00 P.M. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tommy McDearis officiating.
