Nannie Davis Ramsey

Nannie Davis Ramsey was called from earth to glory in the peaceful hours of the morning on Friday June 2 at 524 Virtue Lane, Blacksburg, Virginia. Nannie was born November 3rd ,1946 in Pittsylvania County, VA to the late Omega and Bertha Davis. She was educated in the Pittsylvania County Schools. At an early age she accepted Christ as her personal savior. She was united in marriage to James Ramsey on December 23, 1967, to this union two children were born: Gregory Ramsey and Heather Ramsey. Nannie was preceded in death by her parents Omega and Bertha Davis; one sister Mozetta Jones and brother Earl Davis. She leaves to cherish her memories one sister Catherine Price (Richard) and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at 2:00 PM, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Schaeffer Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 PM before the service.
