Naomi Richardson Eanes

Naomi Richardson Eanes, 94, of Martinsville, Va. passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. She was born in Sandy Ridge, N.C. April 30, 1930 to the late James Stephen Richardson and Nannie Lee Bina Amos.

In addition to her parents, Naomi was preceded in death by her husband Willard “Bill” Curtis Eanes and her son, Dr. Ritchie C. Eanes.

She is survived by her son, Rodney Eanes (Barbara) of Charleston S.C and daughter Renee Eanes of Appomattox, Va.; daughter-in-law, Mehtap Eanes; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchildren.

The family greatly appreciates the care and compassion provided to Naomi by Charniece Stultz and family.

A graveside service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Mountain View Cemetery and will be officiated by Pastor Kurt Ashley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Jude’s Children’s hospital and Trellis Supportive Care Foundation, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
