Neil Patrick Vanlear

Neil Patrick Vanlear, 43, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025. He was the son of Ronald W. Vanlear and Diane Hart Dill. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Walter and Ailne Vanlear, and his maternal grandfather, Norman C. Hart.

Neil enjoyed cooking, anything to do with the outdoors and Karaoke.

He will be missed and remembered by his father, Ronald W. Vanlear and his wife Cathy; his mother, Diane Hart Dill and her husband Kevin; a daughter, Destiny Hawley; a brother, David Vanlear and his husband Damon Wilson; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Lebanon Church of the Brethren, 1168 Lebanon Church Road, Mt. Sidney, VA.
