Noel Timothy Wooten

Noel Timothy Wooten, 64, of Greensboro, North Carolina, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020, at Beacon Place at AuthoraCare Collective in Greensboro. He was born in Henry County on March 27, 1956 to Mary Ann Schoefield Wooten and the late Rev. Howard Wooten, Jr. He was a graduate of Fieldale-Collinsville High School; he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, and was a member of Shiloh Way of the Cross Church. He enjoyed working on cars and being around people.

In addition to his mother, Noel is survived by his sisters, Teresa Wooten and Deborah Burgess; and brothers, Philip Wooten (Deloris), Micah Wooten (Treela), and Lazarus Wooten; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

A Floating Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. The Funeral will be Thursday, December 3, at 4:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Bishop Early Dillard officiating.
