Norma Jean Lawson, 69, of Roanoke passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025. She was the daughter of the late, Warren Lanham Short and Nancy Otey Short. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Michael Lawson; two brothers, Warren S. Short and Randolph Kelbin Short.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Scott Rogers; granddaughter, Ivy Lee; and two great grandchildren, Rosalind and Cruz Hall.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 18, 2024, at Lotz Funeral Home, 1001 Franklin Road, Roanoke.
The burial will be private.
