Norma Sue Foley, 78, of Collinsville, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Franklin Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 15, 1946, in Bluefield, Virginia, to the late Oscar B. Edwards and Alma Feazell Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Gregory Ferguson, and her brother, Dennis Edwards.

Norma Sue was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Bassett, where her church family meant so much to her. She retired from DuPont after 28 years of service, she enjoyed reading and was devoted to her family.

She is survived by her sister, Sandra Cockram, brother, Barry Edwards, nieces, Traci Petty and Heather Cockram, and a host of other family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral to honor her life to follow at 12:00 PM at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel with Reverend Doug Ramsey officiating. A private burial will be held following the service.
