Norman Bruce Creasey

Norman Bruce Creasey, 84, of Bedford, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023. He was born in Bedford, VA on July 18, 1939 a son of the late Aubrey Bruce Creasey and Willie Mae Roberts Creasey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Rose Marie Creasey; and a brother, Michael Aubrey “Mickey” Creasey. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and worked at Rubatex for 35 years. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Brown Creasey, two sons, Jeffrey Creasey, Billy Creasey and wife Christine; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Rose Creasey. A memorial service will be held for Bruce and his wife Betty who passed away just 2 days after him at 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Burch-Messier Walnut Street Chapel, 1235 Walnut Street, Bedford with Rev. Vernon DeLong officiating. In lieu of flowers and food, donations may be made to the Bedford Fire Department or The Saint Bernard Club of America.
