Pamela Fay Tate Akers

PAMELA FAY TATE AKERS, 36, born on September 9, 1982, departed this life on January 18, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Garland Tate.

She is survived by her mother, Rachel Kast Tate, Narrows; brother & sister-in-law, Benjamin & Lauren Tate, Shawsville; sisters & brothers-in-law, Lena Tate, Narrows, Angela & Todd Keaton, Vinton, and Michelle & Michael Thorne, Dublin; special friend, Michael Akers, Pearisburg; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 17, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, White Gate, with Rev. Tommy Ramsey officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time, 2:00 P.M. A private burial will take place a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in her honor to A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, 2508 Walkers Creek Valley Rd., Pearisburg, VA 24134, to help with funeral expenses.
