Pamela Thompson Spencer

June 30, 1955 - October 2, 2025

Pamela Thompson Spencer, age 70, of Ringgold, Virginia, went to her heavenly home on October 2, 2025.

Mrs. Spencer was born on June 30, 1955, to the late Gloria Sigmon and Harold Thompson, Sr. She was a graduate of George Washington High School.

Mrs. Spencer was a faithful member of Central Boulevard Church of God where she served as the Children’s Pastor and church secretary for 29 years. To the many children who came to know the Lord through her ministry and to her Dream Team, she was affectionately known as “Miss Pam”. She lead a life of faith and service devoted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and now her faith has been made sight.

Mrs. Spencer is survived by her son, William “Scott” Spencer (Wanda); siblings, Becky Spencer, Tim Thompson (Linda), and Steve Thompson (Angie); grandchildren, Ashley Spencer and Nikki Foote (Tom); great-grandchildren, Meredith Spencer, Rowyn Schouviller, and Rylan Schouviller.

In addition to beloved husband and her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Harold “Butch” Thompson, Jr.; sisters, Dawn Stroud and Joy Bates; brother-in-law, Donnie Spencer, Sr., and nephew, D.J. Spencer.

Funeral services for Mrs. Spencer will be conducted on Sunday October 5, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Central Blvd. Church of God with Pastor Jim Spivey and Pastor John Meadows officiating. A private burial will be held on Monday October 6, 2025, at Danville Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Central Blvd. Church of God – Children’s Playground Fund.
