Patricia Ann Ooms

Pat “Papa” Ooms, age 85, born July 28, 1939, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the Kroonjie Center in Blacksburg. Pat was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church. She was a proud veteran of our country serving four years in the United States Air Force. Her love for cats were some of the most memorable moments of her life. Pat is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Kim Ooms and two children [Ashleigh and Brandon Hopson]. Sister Shirl and husband [Big Al]. Niece Julie and husband [Jody] son [Robbie DiDonato]. Nephew Billy Edwards and wife [Erin], daughters [Reese, Reagan] son [Ryder] and other family. Per Pat‘s wishes there will be no formal services, however, the family encourages everyone to celebrate her life in the way that you best remember her.
