With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Patricia Ann Richardson, a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and an unwavering pillar of faith. She peacefully left this world on Friday, July 7th, 2023, guided by her deep-rooted faith in Christ.

Born on April 18th, 1943, Patricia, also known as Patty, exemplified genuine compassion, love, and strength, lead by her commitment to the Lord. She was known for her strong love of her faith, family, and friends. She was often called “the social butterfly,” making friends with everyone she met. She loved playing bingo, doing crafts, and listening to gospel music with her friends.

Her heart’s mission in life was to share the message of God. No matter what hardship, her heart overflowed with the love of God, with her soft, positive presence served as a beacon of hope, with her life’s experience to share the love of the Lord.

For 40 years, Patricia dedicated herself to running the nursery at Clearview Wesleyan Church, where she touched the lives of countless children, and spread the gospel with her beloved church family. Her faith and gentle presence served as an inspiration to the community, leaving an indelible mark on all whose path she crossed.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Harry Reina Gilbert and Gladys Marie Tate Gilbert; and great-grandchildren, Madison Kidd and Baby Davis. Patricia is survived by her loving children, Gena Marie Swing, Tammy Jo Hodges, and Terry L.
