Patrick Lee Powers

Patrick Lee Powers Sr. 82 to be with his Lord and Savior on June 8, 2023.

Pat was born April 30, 1941 to Benjamin and Katherine Powers, and grew up in Salem with his siblings Benjamin Powers, Jr., and the late Susan Powers Hatcher.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sallie Lemon Powers. His children Patrick L Powers Jr., Amy Powers Judd, and Mollie Powers Day. He has nine grandchildren, Joshua Powers, Seth Powers, Emilee Powers Matthews, Nathan Judd, Brooke Judd, Bryce Judd, William Day, Anna Day, and Josie Day. He also has two great- grandchildren, Isla Matthews and Lacey Powers. He showed his family how he loved them, by working very hard, to provide for his family with an astounding work ethic. Pat worked for Carter Machinery until he retired.

He definitely made his mark on the world with his following of Christ, and his humor. So many meaningful and funny memories, we are thankful to have been a part of those memories with him.

A memorial service will be held at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Eugene Mills officiating. A reception will follow the memorial service at Lotz Funeral Home.

Dad, thanks for building our character. We will miss you and quote you with love always.
