Patrick T. Reidy

Patrick T. "Pat" Reidy, 76, of Roanoke passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024.

Patrick was a member of Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and the Ancient Order of Hibernians.  He was an accomplished musician and enjoyed his time playing with numerous local bands including, the Community Band, the Shrine Band,  the Salty Pretzel Band, the Let's Dance Band and the Old Pros.  In addition to his love of music he was an avid fisherman.  He proudly served his country in the U S Navy during the Vietnam War.

Surviving is his wife of 41 years, Patricia C. Reidy; daughter, Karen Schulz and husband Volker; sons, Thomas Reidy and Andrew Reidy; grandchildren, Tyler and Kyle Schulz and Catherine and Corry Reidy; brother Daniel Reidy and wife Tracy; and sister, Barbara Maitland.

Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2024 at Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church 3505 Electric Road.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024 at the Electric Road Chapel of Simpson Funeral Home 3912 Electric Road.  540 632 4200.
