Paul Lee Coleman

Paul Lee Coleman, III, age 78, of Danville, Virginia passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Danville and was the son of the late Rosebud and Paul Lee Coleman, II. He was married to Joan Griffith Coleman, who survives, of the residence.

He was of the Methodist faith and worked for Brockway Glass as an Industrial Mech for many years. He also proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. Paul was a master woodworker who loved camping and especially Mrs. Coleman’s cooking.

In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by three stepsons, Barry Carter, Brian Carter, and Jake Burditt; three nephews, Joey, Carlton “Ray”, and Shane Scott; two great-grandchildren, Paige and Dallas Carter; step-grandchildren, Katelynn Hughes, Derick Jackson, Gabe Stumpf, and Cece Stumpf; and his aunt, Nancy Taylor, as well as best friend, Jimmy Wilkerson.  Paul was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Jackie Scott.

Visitation of friends will take place at Norris Funeral Services West End Chapel, 511 Church Ave., Danville, VA from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Sunday, September 22, 2024.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., also at the West End Chapel of Norris Funeral Services officiated by Pastor J. B. Baldridge. Interment will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, VA.
