Pauline Smith Foley

Pauline Smith Foley, 95, of Bassett, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. She was born in Surry County, NC on November 4, 1927, the daughter of late Herman Walter Smith and the late Mamie Jane Flippen Smith.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Elmer E. Foley, brother, Lester Smith, sisters, Lois Bridges, Lillie Moore and Virginia Shively.

Pauline is survived by her sons, Donald Foley (Ruth) and Thomas Foley (Kristi); grandchildren, Don, Jr., Hannah, Stormie, Haven and Carson; 4 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at 1:00 PM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Kirk Montgomery officiating.  Burial will follow at Henry Memorial Park in Bassett with Pastor Kirk Montgomery officiating.
