Peggy Ann Bowen

Peggy Ann Bowen, 88, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024. She was born May 16, 1936, in Hillsville, Virginia to the late Ed Barnette and Anna Sutphin Burnette.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Edward Barnette, Harry Barnette, and Harold Barnette.Peggy was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Collinsville, Virginia. She loved children and was owner/operator of an In Home Child Care Center.She is survived by her loving husband, Ivan Duane Bowen; son, David Duane Bowen; sister, Phyllis Taylor (Larry); and brother, Donald Barnette.Services will be held at a later date.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
