Peggy Cale Swaine

Peggy Cale Swaine, wife of Calvin A. Swaine, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at her home. She was the daughter of the late James and Mary Neal Cale. She was also preceded in death by siblings Linda and Jerry.

In addition to her husband of 41 years, Calvin A. Swaine, she will be missed and remembered by her daughter, Summer Swaine and her pet “Reese”; son, Calvin Swaine and his wife Stephanie; siblings, Bobby Neal and his wife Nora, Ricky Cale, Mark Cale, Tammy Tasler and her husband Bill, Sharon Wright, and Sherry Lee; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends including the entire Swaine family; her cat, “Gracie”; special friend, Ruth Anthony.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Allison Nelson, Lee Ann Carroll, the 5 East "Dream Team" and the entire staff of 4 East at Lewis Gale Hospital for the care they took of Peggy.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 1 pm to 3 pm at Simpson Funeral Home, 3912 Electric Road, Roanoke, VA.
